Hello Faith Family!
It is so good to take this opportunity to send you a letter and update you on all that is happening with the Pay It Forward campaign, specifically the solar portion of the project. First, let me start by saying thank you so much for your commitment and faithfulness to this project. You, the people of Peoples Church, have been amazing, and on behalf of the entire church council, let me say thank you! If all goes well, we will have the first level of the PG&E approval process and switchover done at the end of August. While this is not the end, it is a massive step toward completion, allowing us to produce and utilize the energy in real time. It also starts the final step toward approval from PG&E, which will eradicate our electric bill for the entire property! If you were at the annual membership meeting, you know we were working toward this and were delayed due to significant issues obtaining parts and equipment. We thank God that the finish line is in sight!
I encourage everyone to remain faithful in giving toward Pay It Forward. After the solar portion of the Pay It Forward campaign is complete, we’ll have around $500,000 remaining to pay off the solar construction. We will also see more than $600,000 in annual savings on our electric bill for the property.
